How to Share or Transfer Airtel Data Bundle (MB) with Friends

At times we do wish to transfer our data bundle from our current data subscription to a friend or family but we don’t actually know how to go about it.

You can share one data plan with family and friends across phones, tabs and laptops.

Airtel smartSHARE is designed to allow you share data in two ways:

Me 2 U -  Sharing from an already purchased bundle. "giving out" or "sharing" from an already purchased data bundle from an "owner customer" to other customers. In this case, the given out bundle will reside in the other customer's wallet. Only one customer can be Me2U'd at a time.

STEPS

1.     Dial *141#

2.     Reply * from the new menu

3.     Reply 6

4.     Reply 3

5.     Reply 2

6.     Enter phone number

7.     Enter data amount

Your data will be transferred to the designated phone number.

Gifting: Buying a data bundle plan from the "owner customer" to another customer; data bundles in this category includes all the bundles listed on Airtel's list of bundle plans and Android bundles

STEPS:

1.     Dial *141#

2.     Reply *

3.     Reply 6

4.     Reply 2

5.     Select your prefer plan ( i.e  daily/weekly. Monthly etc)

6.     Select  data bundle (i.e 200mb, 1gigabite etc)

7.     Reply 1 to activate

8.     Enter phone number you wish to send to.

9.     Enter your pin

Data bundle will be purchase to the phone number.

NOTE: change the default pin which is 1234 to your own pin before use. To change pin follow from step one to 3,  Reply 1 to change pin
